I've been walking 20-30 minutes 4-6 times per week, even throughout the winter. As long as the snow wasn't deep, I was able to get out and walk, even if it meant carefully walking in the street. On the snowy days, I was able to shovel for exercise. This has made a great difference in my moods this winter. Bundle up and walk...it's amazing how it clears the mind and soothes the soul.
Good for you! One of my favorite things about living in the South this winter has been how easy it has been to walk almost daily.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge walker. I can easily walk for an hour during the spring/summer months. You are right-it clears my head and improves my mood.
ReplyDeleteDuring the winter I started Leslie Sansone's walking routines (walk away the pounds, I believe; available On Demand for us). I enjoy that, too.
Keep it up! :)
